Feeling (Like) Bach?

We all know many different ways in which music can move us. In its own time, the music of J. S. Bach had the power to bring about profound transformations in a listener’s physical and spiritual state; but nowadays, Bach’s music tends to be understood more as a disembodied object of aesthetic contemplation.

In this workshop, we played through selected excerpts from Bach’s work with a group of specialist musicians, to inspire our listeners to experience for themselves some of the transformative effects this music can produce.
